Who We Are

On March 3, 2018 Joyful Noise Fellowship was founded by three individuals from South Jersey who desired to spread the love of God in their community through song. The group later rebranded and broadened its mission to focus more on meeting the physical and tangible needs of the surrounding community (January 1, 2021). Today, URBN (the United Remnant of Believers Network) formerly known as Joyful Noise Fellowship Inc., has a mission to Revive its target area communities through the education sector, Rebrand Christianity to demonstrate the unconditional love of God for all people by liberating people from man-made traditions in church culture, and to ReLife (give life back to) lost souls by uniting them with Christ.

Our URBN Ed Initiative focuses on making education more accessible for low income families in need in underserved areas and communities. Our URBN Ed Scholarship provides grants to high school seniors and college students in an effort to relieve some of the financial stress they may face while attempting to continue their education. We have developed partnerships with The Walmart Foundation, and Bold.org to ensure that this annual scholarship program is successful.

Our Impact URBN Initiative (iURBN) focuses on combatting crime and poverty in our focus area communities by providing an alternative. Some past events include:

• Fuel Giveaway
  

We gave away gas to 100 families and individuals in need in the Mercer County, NJ area.

• Christmas Gift Giveaway
  

We were able to bless 226 students with Christmas gifts at Harrison Elementary School in Trenton, NJ.

• Community Field Day
  

We were able to provide over 20 families with free food, music/entertainment, and groceries in partnership with Trenton Deliverance Church, and Mercer Street Friends Food Bank at a free event held at Franklin Park in Trenton, NJ.
